Everything moves.

At the heart of many of Fraser Alexander’s solutions are the systems that move the materials between mining sites, processing plants, smelters and disposal sites. As is customary for us, these systems can be customised to your needs and are offered on a DBOOM (Design, Build, Own, Operate, and Maintain) or O&M (Operate and Maintain) basis.


We move everything.

Using these systems, the substances we can move range from wet materials (like hydro-remined slurry), through dry materials (like coal, mineral ores and waste), to hot metals. If you need it moved, we can help you using one or a combination of the following solutions:

Wet moving systems:

Mine tailings storage facilities

Tailings management is where Fraser Alexander began in 1912 and it is thanks to this experience that we remain at the forefront of global tailings management. With our well-trained professional team and our proven tailings management systems, we’re able to routinely monitor the 'health' of each facility, intervening proactively whenever necessary.

Stockpiles and dumps

When dealing with huge quantities of raw materials, processed products and waste, it is critical to have safe, effective and environmentally friendly deposition solutions.
